kA Testing facility gains ASTA BEAB accreditation01/09/2005| |  |  | |
kA Testing Facility, a leading UK provider of testing services to the power sector of the electrical industry, has been awarded the an ASTA BEAB accreditation for its new temperature-rise test facility, which is capable of evaluating the performance of switchgear and controlgear assemblies at currents up to 5,000A. This accreditation means that customers will be able to use the facility for final type-testing and certification in line with the requirements of BS EN 60439-1:1999, the key standard for low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies.
